Job Title

Systems Analyst, Infrastructure

Reports to

Manager, IT Operations (Network, Cloud and Datacentre, or End-User Computing)

Job Overview

The Systems Analyst is a collaborative member of the IT Operations team.   This position will manage, support, and deliver technology platforms and solutions that satisfy business and operational requirements in either Network, Cloud and Datacentre, or End-User Computing technology domains.

Responsibilities

  • Operation and management of technology infrastructure and systems
  • Participate in the identification and development of new infrastructure products and solutions
  • Delivery of new infrastructure products and solutions
  • Monitor, analyze and manage capacity and performance
  • Identify and recommend improvements to meet new or changing business demands
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to serve and support our customers

 Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • University Degree, College Diploma or relevant experience
  • 3-5 Years of experience in IT Environments (Network, Cloud & Datacentre, or End User)
  • Possess or in-progress certifications; Cisco Certified Network Associate, Microsoft Certified Systems Associate, or Microsoft Certified Azure Associate

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge or experience in networks; datacentre switching, SDWAN, firewall technologies, access switching, and wireless
  • Knowledge or experience in cloud and datacentre; Active Directory (AD), AD Federated Services (ADFS), server OS (Windows/Linux), virtualization, storage, enterprise backup services, Azure, AWS
  • Knowledge or experience in End User support; Office 365, desktop computing, mobility, mobility management, collaboration and video conferencing
