MoveSnap is a personalized moving concierge platform that helps Canadians have easy, seamless moves and is available by invitation only via partners in the real estate industry.

MoveSnap is looking for a Summer Marketing Student to primarily support in the management of our content & social media channels, among other marketing efforts. Part writing aficionado and part builder, you’ll be responsible for executing the social and content action plans on key ventures and supporting any other marketing efforts to deliver successful results for these businesses.

What will you do?

  • Create written and visual blog and social media content for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and/or Pinterest
  • Draft blog briefs that draw on search insights to maximize organic search performance value for venture websites
  • Work with 3rd-party and internal writers on writing and translation of copy; secure business and legal approvals as required
  • Create search engine-optimized blog content with guidance from marketing leads
  • Manage community on social media platforms, including replying to comments, helping with questions, and engaging customer support teams where needed
  • Analyze and report on performance of content and use data to drive decisions
  • Support marketing leads on other marketing initiatives as needed, including performance marketing, email, events, activations, partnerships, and other business-focused projects
  • Participate in evolution of marketing & content strategy by bringing data-driven insights to the table
  • Perform research and testing on new channels as needed

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Post-secondary courses in marketing, communications, social media management, or equivalent training
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Basic understanding of social media & SEO best practices with regards to content marketing
  • Experience with appropriate SaaS tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, Sprinklr, Conductor Searchlight or similar platforms) or willingness to learn quickly

Nice-to-have

  • Written skill in French is a bonus
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Flexitive, Indesign, or Figma is a bonus
