Midland Transport is looking for a motivated individual to work as a Finance Assistant Student based in Dieppe, NB. Reporting to the Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial analysis to support financial business decisions and improve performance.
- Assist in forecast model build, reporting and analyzing of key financial planning metrics.
- Assist with preparation of internal and external presentation materials.
- Benchmark reporting and analysis
- Special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a BBA undergraduate degree program (Preferred Accounting Major)
- Positive academic standing
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
