Hourly wage: $18.00
Hours worked: 37.5 hours/week for a 15-week co-op term
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and forward-thinking Project Coordinator with exceptional organizational and communication skills to join our projects team. You will be taking on a multifaceted co-op role in which you will be involved in a variety of different initiatives all focused around engaging and advancing the digital sector in Nova Scotia. The Project Coordinator will work directly with one of our Project Managers, assisting with research, planning, and executing various programs and project deliverables. Key focuses of the role will be communicating and consulting with
internal and external stakeholders, program participants and community members. If you are looking to gain experience within the digital industry, and have an interest in having a career in project or product management then this is the ideal role for you. Digital Nova Scotia is a fast-paced work environment that is creative, challenging, and collaborative, with a wide variety of industry projects.
What does the role look like?
● Assist with the planning, implementation, and administration of Digital Nova Scotia’s project portfolio
● Engage with key stakeholders and program participants to support project plans and key initiatives both internally and
externally
● Collaborate with multiple team members on creating and leveraging tools and resources that advance the
sustainability and success of the project
● Monitor and manage project metrics and develop related reports and communications.

● Proactivity towards the job and a willingness to raise concerns and seek answers without instruction
Here’s what we see as assets for the role:
● Previous experience in project coordination, or communication roles
● Experience working with, and communicating with a wide range of different individuals
● Previous experience, or a comfort working within; Google Workspace, WordPress, Monday.com and Asana.
