  • Support the operational processes that ensure the content of CDR meets business, data quality, and regulatory requirements and standards
  • Interface and build strong relationships with internal clients and external vendors as they relate to Regulatory Counterparty Data Management
  • Support the daily activities/tasks and maintain the Regulatory Inbox
  • Support regulatory initiatives and data analysis
  • Execute UAT testing activities
  • Support the capture, measure, and report metrics on the dimensions of data quality that support business defined objectives
  • Review and validate regulatory documents and ensure it is reflected in CDR
  • The employee is responsible for the integrity, quality and completeness of counterparty regulatory data, which is relied upon for the success of business and regulatory operating processes and reporting
  • Inconsistent and/or inaccurate counterparty, regulatory and account data across Capital Markets systems may result in dollar losses, inaccurate risk and revenue reporting, as well as reputation risk to the Bank.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager – Regulatory Data Management, the Regulatory Analyst position plays a key role in supporting the KYC Operation, data management strategy and goals for RBC Capital Markets, specifically around Regulatory data. As part of an evolving and maturing data management function, this role is responsible for the accuracy, management and maintenance of the regulatory counterparty data.

The Regulatory Analyst will have an in depth knowledge of internal systems specifically the Counterparty Data Repository (CDR), and will have a sound Counterparty and Regulatory data knowledge base. You are responsible to ensure the operational processes within the Regulatory Team are present, are followed and ensure the Regulatory data within CDR is accurate and well maintained. You will support other team members as appropriate and ensure agreed upon SLAs are met. The Regulatory Data Analyst will assist and support regulatory initiatives within Client Regulatory and KYC Operations (CRKO) and build strong relationships with stakeholders and business partners.
