Job Description

Simplii Bank is an internet bank that integrates financial services through a network of partners. Simplii Bank offers Clients a better way to do their banking by offering no-fee day-to-day banking, great rates and superior service. Clients can save time by doing their banking through a variety of channels – Internet, phone or bank machine.

 

What you’ll be doing

Be the prime advocate for Simplii Financial clients and prospects so they can have simple, clear and valuable client experiences under a new brand strategy and in a new remote business model.  While there are several metrics that will define success, Net Promoter Score (NPS) will be your focus!

 

Important information

  • You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education to be eligible. However, you do not need to be in a registered Co-Op program to be considered for this role.
  • You are currently pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.

How you’ll succeed

  • Strategic Thinking and Thought Leadership – You will provide expert level thought leadership on client experience through use of best practices and methodologies (e.g. Journey Mapping, Service Design, etc.) to ensure the desired end-to-end experience is executed.  You will work on tasks that may include designing experiences and/or identifying and drawing linkages to multiple initiatives to ensure a well thought through mitigation plan is in place for client impact. You’ll be up to date with industry trends and thinking around client experience in the banking, finance, and other industries.
  • Analysis – You will take a data-driven approach and analyze and draw key insights from enterprise data (client, performance and operational), processes, documents and technologies to identify gaps to desired strategy and to provide solutions and recommendations based on your analysis.
  • Collaboration – You will work with internal partners in the development of programs, products, or services by assessing the impact, effectiveness and feasibility of proposed changes (review options and proposals, often developed by others). You’ll make recommendations regarding feasibility and implementation of changes and work with your team and partners toward a common goal and negotiate deliverables and milestones whenever necessary. You will also build ongoing partnerships with key clients and business partners
  • Relationship Building – You will liaise with functional groups across CIBC to negotiate and influence business partners to ensure alignment of initiatives / solutions and individual deliverables across dependent client experience initiatives.
  • Communication – You’ll develop and present project artifacts to a wide range of audiences to support executive discussion and decision making. You’ll calibrate work progress, status and participate in the negotiation and influence business partners to ensure alignment of initiatives and individual deliverables across dependent initiatives.
