Job Description

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

When you join the Regulatory Management team for a 4-month Co-op, you will be making a real difference for our clients, our team and our community. You will be joining a dynamic team, working on diverse projects and initiatives that involve several different groups, people, and applications. You will provide support in day-to-day activities of the Regulatory Management team and assist with the strategic direction of Capital Markets as it relates to global regulatory developments.

 

Important Information

  • You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education to be eligible. However, you do not need to be in a registered Co-Op program to be considered for this role.

Please note: all CIBC Co-op positions require you to be based in Canada for the duration of the term.
  • Duration of Work Term: 4 months (September 2022 – December 2022).

How You’ll Succeed

  • Process Oriented – Assist with the coordination of global regulatory changes impacting the Capital Markets businesses. Support global process for regulatory program delivery – liaise with global project managers,  document meeting minutes, and prepare meeting materials for the Global Regulatory Management and Executive Management Steering Committees/Working groups, etc.
  • Organization – Support global regulatory internal and external audits to coordinate responses, supporting documentation, and ensuring all artifacts are accessible in a centralized location. Organize and manage repositories applicable to the Global Regulatory Management program
  • Continuous Improvement – Assist with regulatory impact assessment of global changes – industry research and internal assessments
