This position will be primarily focused with the Parts Department at Universal Truck & Trailer in Dieppe, NB

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and implement 5S organization projects to improve the warehouse operations.
  • Lead various projects in the warehouse management/logistics space to improve findability, organization and storage of retail merchandise
  • Project manage activities associated with a new warehouse building to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Develop and implement new ideas to best manage optimize bin locations.
  • Analyze data to make decision and create dashboards to measure results.
  • Create long term daily/monthly best practices to maintain warehouse organization and accuracy.
  • Support the parts department team with operational activities/projects as required

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a BBA, Computer Science or Engineering undergraduate degree program in positive academic standing
  • Passion for organization and detail
  • Ability to problem solve and work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Strict attention to detail & team-oriented
  • Comfortable working with Excel and large data sets
