Atlantic Towing Limited is a well-established Marine Company with a diverse fleet of Harbour, Coastal/Deep Sea Tugs, and Offshore Supply Vessels with locations in Saint John, New Brunswick, Halifax, Nova Scotia and St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Atlantic Towing is currently seeking applications for a Management Systems Coordinator located in Saint John, New Brunswick. This position reports to the Director of Health and Safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our audits and UniSea software to adhere to the organization’s safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the Management System planning implementation, change and improvement process and take the measures necessary to maintaining the system integrity and quality;
  • Collect, monitor, measure and analyze information and data related Internal and External Quality Health Safety Environmental (QHSE) performance;
  • Liaise with stakeholders on all matters related to quality
  • In conjunction with the Operations Department monitor regulatory developments in the area of health, safety and environmental protection to ensure that their impacts on the Management System are assessed and comply with applicable legal requirements
  • Engage managers ashore and on board in the observance of the requirements of the Management System
  • Form part of the Emergency Response Team in the established capacity.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a BBA or Engineering undergraduate degree program
  • Experience with Tableau software would be considered an asset
  • In positive academic standing
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Valid driver’s license
