General Requirements

  • Four (4) year undergraduate degree (or equivalent) from a recognized or accredited university in science, mathematics, computer science, business, economics, or engineering
  • Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (73-76%) or B in the final 60 credits of study
  • Successful completion of a statistics course with at least 70% final grade
  • Applicants who do not meet standard academic criteria may be considered for admission based on GMAT scores and/or professional experience, as outlined on a CV

The Master of Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics (MAIBA) at CBU is built for a world where AI, machine learning and advanced analytics are reshaping every industry. As organizations work to turn massive data into meaningful insight, this 16‑month program prepares students to lead with the technical, analytical and ethical skills needed in today’s data‑driven global economy. Blending cutting‑edge technology with business insight and sustainability principles with Indigenous perspectives, the MAIBA program develops future‑ready professionals who can make responsible decisions in complex environments.

Through hands‑on labs, real datasets, immersive simulations and either an 420-hour internship or Master’s project, students gain the practical experience employers value most. Program Delivery & Structure

The MAIBA is offered in-person on CBU’s campus, with both full-time (16-months) and part-time options available.
