Important Spring/Summer Information and Dates

Timestamp: Friday, April 30, 2021, 2:00pm

With the start of in-person Spring/Summer courses beginning online, we know you may have questions about how these courses will continue. Please be advised that:

  • All courses/labs previously scheduled to be taught in-person with a start date of May 3, May 4, or May 10, 2021, and end on May 28, 2021, will now be delivered online-live for the entire duration of their offering.
  • All courses/labs scheduled to be taught in-person with a start date of May 3 and May 4, 2021, and an end date after May 28, 2021, a decision will be announced during the week of May 17, 2021, as to if and when we will be able to welcome students back to campus for in-person delivery.

You can view course start and end dates, by visiting your COMPASS student account, and viewing your student statement. Please note, if you are registered for an in-person class that has been moved to an online format, you do not need to adjust your registration. This will happen automatically for you. If you have any questions, please reach out to enrolment@cbu.ca.

While it had been our hope to have all of these classes offered in-person and on-campus, that is just not possible due to current Province-wide COVID-19 restrictions.  As always, these decisions are guided by the health, safety and well-being of our students, faculty, staff and our broader community, as well as the impact on our students’ learning experience. We are hopeful and optimistic, that we will soon be able to welcome everyone safely back to campus.

Stay safe and well,

Dr. Tanya Brann-Barrett
