The R.I.G.H.T. Way to Engagement: An Evidence-Based Approach

Dr. Kelloway will present new model of employee engagement based on the notion of loving your job and comprising passion for the work, commitment to the organization and strong relationships with coworkers.
He will focus on the role of leaders in creating the engaged workforce and present the R.I.G.H.T. model of leadership suggesting that leaders foster engagement through recognition, engagement, growth and development, health and safety and teamwork.

Dr. Kevin Kelloway is the Tier 1 Canada Research Chair of Occupational Health Psychology and Professor of Organizational Psychology at Saint Mary’s University. A native of New Waterford, NS, he received his PhD from Queen’s University. A prolific researcher he has authored/edited 14 books and over 200 articles and book chapters. He is a former President of the Canadian Psychological Association and maintains an active consultancy advising organizations on issues related to leadership, occupational health and safety and human resource management.
