CBU’s Academic Advancement Day – Get the Support You Need to Succeed

Are you returning to your studies in September and looking for a little extra support? Join us for CBU’s Academic Advancement Day on Thursday, August 28, at 1:00pm in the Advising Centre (Marvin Harvey Building).

This session is designed to help you make a confident and successful return to your academic journey. Whether you’re navigating course selection, catching up after a break, or just need a few extra tools to stay on track, this event is for you.

What you’ll learn:

• Timelines and next steps for students with Financial Holds
• Learn how Limited and Restricted Enrolment may impact studies
• How to pick up your courses where you left off
• Study skills and strategies to help you stay on track
• Academic supports available at CBU
• Immigration info for study permit holders, including leave of absence, permit extensions and PGWP

You’ll hear from staff from the Registrar’s Office as well as Academic and International Advisors, who will be on hand to answer questions and help you plan your next steps.
