Pre-Med Student Bursary

To assist CBU students with the financial burden of applying to and attending medical school, ensuring that talented students — regardless of financial background — have the opportunity to pursue a career in medicine and contribute to healthcare.
Award Criteria:
  • The recipient must be a full-time CBU undergraduate student in their 3rd or 4th year with a demonstrated commitment to pursuing medical school.
  • The recipient must provide proof of MCAT registration.
  • The recipient must submit a short personal statement outlining their aspirations in medicine and how the bursary will assist them.
  • Preference will be given to students with an 80% average or above.
  • Financial need will be a consideration in the selection process.
Award value: $400
