Mary Jane Morrison

Associate Dean, Partnership and Engagement

Mary Jane Morrison is a settler to the Unama’ki region and is Associate Dean, Partnership and Engagement in the Shannon School of Business at Cape Breton University. She received her MBA (International Business) from Dalhousie University, and a BBA and Btech (Accounting) from Cape Breton University. Mary Jane has also completed Ecornell certificates in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Equitable Community Change. As a community volunteer for over twenty years, including Horizon Achievement Centre, a minor hockey association, The Sydney Credit Union, and The Nova Scotia Tourism Human Resource Council, Mary Jane is closely connected with the local community and with the tourism industry. As a former director of the Small Business Development Centre, Mary Jane is acutely aware of the importance of community, relationships, and collaboration.
