Associate Professor of Marketing & SSHRC Exchange University Research Chair in Social Determinants of Health

Dr. Leslie J. Wardley (Ph.D.) is an accomplished scholar with multiple papers published in peer-refereed journals and presented at peer-reviewed national and international conferences. Dr. Wardley�s research includes qualitative and quantitative scientific exploration of targeted consumers through identification of their preferences, motivations, and buying behaviours. Dr. Wardley began her professional career in small business management and later expanded her skills to university administration. After shifting from administration to become a faculty member, she continued her work on higher education policies and administration. Her Ph.D. (Laurentian University) focused on the co-creation of value and the institutional commitment of students within the post-secondary sector. This work was awarded the best PhD dissertation in Canada (2015) by the Canadian Society for the Study of Higher Education (CSSHE), and she has published her findings in The International Journal of Higher Education Research.
