Kevin McKague

Canada Research Chair in Social Enterprise and Inclusive Markets and Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy

Kevin McKague holds a Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science from McMaster University, and a MBA and PhD from the Schulich School of Business. He is the Canada Research Chair in Social Enterprise and Inclusive Markets and an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at the Shannon School of Business. His research interests are entrepreneurial ecosystems, social enterprise business models, inclusive markets and social franchising. Kevin led major research projects for the International Finance Corporation (World Bank), The UNDP�s Growing Inclusive Markets Initiative and the International Development Research Centre. His research has spanned 14 African countries as well as Bangladesh, Canada, the US and India. His work has been published in numerous practitioner reports as well as in California Management Review, MIT/Sloan Management Review, Innovations, Stanford Social Innovation Review and the Social Enterprise Journal. He is also the author of Making Markets More Inclusive (Palgrave, New York).
