John Mayich

Director, Student Affairs

John has spent close to 20 years in a variety of roles at Cape Breton University. He held positions in Recruitment, Development and Financial Aid and Awards before taking the Director role in 2016. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Cape Breton University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from City University of Seattle. He has been involved in many internal and external committees and projects relating to student services during his time in post-secondary. He is passionate about student success and development
