Carolin Kreber

Professor in Education

Carolin Kreber joined CBU in 2015 to take up the role of Dean of the Education and Health. Previously, she spent 10 years as professor of education at The University and eight years at the University of Alberta, where she held leadership roles as Director of the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Assessment, Institute Director of research and Director of the Higher Education Research Group. She obtained her PhD in education from OISE/UT in 1997. Carolin is the author of many articles and books in the field of education (most recently ‘Educating for civic-mindedness: Nurturing authentic professional identities through transformative higher education’, a book published through Routledge 2016) and is frequently invited to share her views on issues related to higher education teaching and learning at international conferences.
