Carolin Kreber

Professor in Education

Carolin Kreber obtained her PhD in education from OISE/UT in 1997. In 2015 she joined CBU after spending eight years at the University of Alberta (associate professor), and then 10 years as (full) professor of education at The University of Edinburgh, where she held leadership roles as Director of the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Assessment, Institute Director of Research and Director of the Higher Education Research Group. Having served in a senior administrative role at CBU from 2015-2020, she is now (full) professor in the education department. Carolin is the author of many articles and books in the field of adult and higher education and is presently pursuing a RISE funded research project on community-government-school relations.
