Alejandro Vital Soto

Assistant Professor of Operations Research & Management Science

Dr. Alejandro Vital Soto is an Assistant Professor of Operations Research & Management Science. He holds a Ph.D. graduate in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Windsor, Canada. Dr. Vital earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Puebla (BUAP), Mexico and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Americas Puebla (UDLAP), Mexico. He has collaborated with SMEs in Ontario to develop decision support systems. His research interests include production scheduling, lot-sizing, process planning, decision support systems, reconfigurable manufacturing systems and flexible manufacturing systems.
