Job Description

Reporting to the Logistics Analyst, the winter student would receive an opportunity to get a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Cavendish Farms Supply Chain. This includes Planning, Logistics, Customer Service as well as Optimization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with process mapping and documentation
• Perform ad hoc analysis, reporting and failure investigation
• Continuous improvement activities
• Assist and be involved in the life-cycle management of new enhancements: idea, development, testing and deployment
• Assist in daily operations as needed in the TMS (Transportation Management System)
• Work cross functionally across departments to ensure projects are being prioritized and completed on time

Qualifications

• Currently completing post-secondary education in business, supply chain or engineering
• A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong written communication
• Ability to learn and use new technology
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• An interest in Supply Chain
