Winter 2026 Co-op – Procedures Assistant – Atlantic Central – Halifax, NS

Atlantic Central’s Halifax office is currently accepting applications for a winter co-op term
position of Procedures Assistant.

Atlantic Central is the trade association for credit unions in Atlantic Canada. League Savings and

THE POSITION:
In the role of Procedures Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and
project support to the Policy & Procedures Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Creates videos on various topics for a SharePoint vlog.
• Assists with creating and updating digital account origination documentation and support
materials.
• Assists in content design, updating, and posting to websites.
• Updates and maintains inventory control logs, updating resource materials.
• Provides administrative and project support to the Business Solutions department.
• Conductsresearch and organizesinformation on operational areas.
• Compilesinformation to be included in operational procedures manuals.
• Completes other duties and projects as may be assigned.

LOCATION:
This position is based out of the Halifax, NS office, but offers the ability to work remotely, as
required.

TO JOIN OUR TEAM:
As the ideal candidate you will be working towards completing a degree in Business and have
completed at least your first year of study and be a participant in the University’s Co-op
program.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
You have experience with SharePoint, ability to learn new software, and proficiency in the use of
Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Experience with Canva, YouTube
Channel Admin and Wrike would be considered an asset. You will also have strong oral and
written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, customer service skills and can
accomplish tasks with little supervision.

HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time, 16-week student co-op position and the hours of work per week are 37.5
hours. The term for this position will be from January 5, 2026, to April 24, 2026, and the hours
of work are 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

COMPENSATION:
This position will be paid hourly at $28.30 an hour plus vacation pay.
