Job Title: Departmental Development Support, Folklore, Literature & the Arts
Job Duties:
Compile resources for course development, publication submissions, and the department’s online presence and assist in tasks related to these activities.
Research library and online materials to support multiple projects (course development, creative publication, and a LiFTA student resources page)
Participate in the development of student-oriented online presence for the department that supplements the official CBU material (similar to https://cbucommons.ca/psychology/). May also include the task of coordinating/conducting video interviews with department members for posting on this site.
Qualifications:
Strong research, communication, and writing skills
Possess an interest in the creative arts, academic institutions, and arts and humanities scholarship
Self-directed, organized, and will have
Access to a computer and stable internet
Experience with social media promotion and/or videography is an asset
Must be a full time student in good academic standing
Learning Outcomes:
Library and online research skills; writing clarity and communication skills; project management; introduction to course development and academic publication processes; potential videography, interview, and website development skills.
