Corrine McIsaac

Associate Professor, Nursing

Dr. Corrine McIsaac is a dedicated health educator, researcher, and entrepreneur. She is an Associate Professor, in the Department of Nursing. Corrine earned both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as Master of Education Degree from St. Francis Xavier University. She completed her PhD from Dalhousie University. She is also an Associate Scientist with the Maritime SPOR Support Unit. Her areas of research interests are wound and skin care, post-operative surgical care, virtual care, artificial intelligence and the measurement of outcomes. She has successfully commercialized her research with the development of an intelligent wound care platform that enables wound care teams to deliver evidence-based care resulting in better outcomes for patients. She has amassed the largest wound care data set in Canada and is actively working with researchers to build predictive models and intelligent algorithms. Dr. McIsaac is passionate about enabling better health care through innovative technologies.
