Title: Housing Project Assistant
Rate/hours/length: $15.70 hourly/30 hours a week/9 weeks

The housing project staff will work under the supervision of the Executive Director.
As time permits, and based on student experience/interest, undertake some of the following duties:
-assist with the research, revision, and at times, creation of policies for our 4 second stage housing units (one brand new)
-assist with surveying tenants about satisfaction and concerns
-work within budgets to assist with the decoration and furnishing of apartments and shelter rooms
-develop history of each building to pass on to fundraising team
-take pictures of units
-make recommendations for improvements based on observations and surveys
-create multimedia and social media materials to assist in leveraging more funds and preparing reports
-assist in research about community and resident (of our shelters) need for housing
-develop and conduct groups about how to be a good tenant, how to ask a landlord questions, roles and responsibilities, the law, etc.
-develop a harm reduction policy and procedures for second stage housing
