The First-Year Advising Centre is now closed.

If you have academic advising questions related to spring and summer 2019 courses contact but please note that the spring & summer timetable will not be finalized until March 5th.

More details on academic advising for September 2019 will be posted shortly, but some general information is below.

Appointments last approximately 1.5 hours and include the following steps:

Step 1: Meeting with an academic advisor, where you will review your program requirements and options and select your courses.

Step 2: Meeting with our Academic Success Coach, where you can discuss your expectations, any concerns you may have, available supports, and how to best prepare for the start of classes.

Step 3: Meeting with a First-Year Advising Centre student employee, where you will learn how to create your class schedule, set up your online student account and access your CBU email, and register for classes.

*Please note that academic advising can be done by email for students who are not able to come to campus.
