Academic Advising at CBU

Planning to start your program and take classes in May 2019? Please visit our May Intake page for more information.

The First-Year Advising Centre will open May 6, 2019 for the September 2019 intake.

All new students are required to meet with an academic advisor before registering for courses to help with program planning.

Appointments last approximately 1.5 hours and include the following steps:

Step 1: Meeting with an academic advisor, where you will discuss your expectations and any concerns you may have, review your program requirements and options and select your courses.

Step 2: Meeting with an Advising Centre student employee, where you will learn how to create your class schedule, set up your online student account and access your CBU email, and register for classes.

*Please note that academic advising can be done by email for students who are not able to come to campus.

Returning students are strongly encouraged to meet with a faculty member for academic advising to help with program planning as well.
