We are seeking an undergraduate student to join our Advisory team working in our Risk Consulting practice within the Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance Services line in our Halifax office. We are seeking a student available for a full-time placement to start in the fall of 2019.

What you will do:

As a Consultant in KPMG’s Advisory Practice, you will focus on fundamental business issues that organizations across various industries should address in order to help them flourish. You will work in a project team environment, leveraging your strong collaboration, interpersonal skills and dedication to providing client service excellence.

Role and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of client services including:
• Assisting organizations with the establishment of internal audit functions, development of risk assessments and internal audit plans
• Supporting organizations with the development, implementation, and execution of internal audit plans and projects in an outsourcing or co-sourcing arrangement
• Assisting organizations with the delivery of specialized internal audit, internal control and regulatory compliance projects
• Participating in the delivery of internal audit, risk and compliance (financial and operational) related engagement presentations and deliverables to clients
• Contributing in the development of client engagement plans, deliverables and expectations
• Simultaneously delivering multiple client engagements of varying size, scope and complexity
• Completing industry and audit specific research
