The Fellowship Program is a two-year program for recent graduates looking to develop entrepreneurial
skills, join a diverse and supportive community and gain access to work experience in startups across
●Graduate(d) between Fall 2017 and Spring 2019 from any field of study
●Hold a post-secondary degree or diploma
●Eligible to work in Canada
●Available and ready to begin full time employment as of June 2019
●Available to attend 4 week Training Camp including weekends May 21 to June 14, 2019
As a Venture for Canada Fellow you will receive access to:
A mandatory four week camp at Queen’s University in Kingston, ON from May 21 to June 14,
2019. Training Camp helps bridge the gap between university or college and the startup
ecosystem. Through interactive workshops, guest speakers and competitions you will not only
develop work readiness but the key skills, behaviours and attributes needed to succeed in a
startup. Training Camp also provides the opportunity to bond with your peers through a wide
range of social activities, like paddling the Kingston waterfront or the annual talent show.
●Job Interview Process
Upon completion of Training Camp, Fellows begin the Job Interview Process where they are
connected to hiring startups through our online Job Board and in person Fellow Connect Events.
Venture for Canada Partner Startups pay competitive full time salaries, range in size from 5 – 100
employees and work across various sectors, providing you a range of employment options. You

●Ongoing Training & Support
Throughout the two years Venture for Canada has got your back with ongoing training sessions
and a one year in Fellow ReConnect event to help you continue to develop and grow. Past
training topics include Growth Marketing, B Corp 101 and Negotiations.
