RPS Composites has been fabricating FRP products since the 1950s and today we focus on small and largediameter
pipe that’s used in industries all around the world. What’s FRP? It’s fibreglass reinforced plastic. We apply
resin to a fibreglass shape and after it cures, we have a super-strong, light-weight part (pipe, flange, tank) that
stands up to corrosive and abrasive environments, like those found in chemical processing, mineral processing,
power plants, and wastewater treatment. We have ten manufacturing and service locations in the USA and

Job Description
We’re currently looking for assistance from a post-secondary student to fulfil marketing and communication
duties. To be eligible, you must be enrolled in a cooperative program at a Nova Scotia post-secondary institution
and live in the Province of Nova Scotia.

Required skills, abilities, attitudes:

  • Well-developed writing, editing, and online research skills
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Skype)
  • Critical and strategic thinking; a team player

Optional skills and abilities:

  • Knowledge of and experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of and experience with WordPress CMS
  • YouTube video production

Responsibilities

Tasks will include, but are not limited to:

  • Writing blog posts, case studies, and other material for website
  • Researching and writing material for social media platforms
  • Tracking marketing KPIs and updating Reports
  • Improving website SEO and ranking
  • Writing or editing key messages, both internal and external
  • Researching trends and best practices in our industry
  • Contributing to the Marketing Plan and compiling a Media Kit
  • Updating Experience Lists and Reference Lists
  • Contributing to product Launch Plans and helping to execute
  • Restarting internal and external newsletters
