Details

This opportunity is ideal for a hardworking self-starter who values the importance of teamwork and demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills. You must be proficient with MS Office software with particular focus on MS Excel and MS Word, MS PowerPoint would be considered an asset
. You should be comfortable learning and using business software applications. Preference will be given to students enrolled in their third year Commerce or Business Administration degree program with a major in Accounting or Finance. Previous experience working in an office environment would be an asset.
  • Pay Rate $17.50 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
  • Monday–Friday 37.5 hours per week
  • Commencing May13, 2019 and ending August 30, 2019 (16 weeks)

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Financial Analyst, the successful candidate will work as an active member of the Business Planning Budgeting section within the Finance Department. Duties will include:
  • Financial Analysis
  • Assisting in Financial Statement Preparation
  • Preparation of Analytical Reports
  • Develop Analytical Reports
  • Leasing and Contracting Assignments
  • Contracting and Procurement Assignments
  • Ad hoc Assignments
