Job Description:
The SLCE Assistant is the go-to person for all events and programming developed and executed by the SLCE Coordinator and related committees. The Assistant will be a key person to help make sure life at CBU is active, vibrant, and includes all aspects of life on campus. On event days, demands on your time may be high, but the fun you’ll have will be worth all the work you put in!

Students from any academic background are encouraged to apply. We are looking for students who:

• Can work independently and as part of a group
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for CBU activities and events
• Are dependable and responsible
• Have experience in event planning and promotion
• Demonstrate problem solving skills



• Develop and deliver Engagement Centre activities
• Event management and promotion
• Manage equipment and supplies
• Record keeping and data management
• Other duties as assigned

Application Details

There are two positions to be filled:

  • Position 1: September 2018-December 2018
  • Position 2: September 2018-April 2019

Hours: All positions are part-time, hours TBD
