CBU Work Study Bursary Program: First-Year Advising Centre Assistant 2019W011


The Student Affairs team is seeking an assistant to help with advising preparations for new CBU students who will be beginning their studies in May 2019 and September 2019.


  • A returning CBU student in good academic standing
  • Ability to work both independently and within a group setting
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • experience with social media platforms and creating promotional materials would be considered an asset



  • expect 15 hours/week working on tasks
  • assist with the preparation of advising materials
  • consult with staff and faculty on advising schedules
  • respond to student inquiries via email

Application Details

Hours:  All positions are part-time, hours TBD
