CBU Work Study Bursary Program: Campus Recreation Assistant, 2019W008


Athletics and Student Life Services encompasses the Field House & CBHRC Dome Athletic Facilities, varsity athletics, intramurals and clubs. Reporting to the Coordinator: Varsity Athletics & Recreation, the incumbent will implement and supervise recreational programs and project initiatives to enrich the student experience and maintain an integrated approach to support student recreation and wellness programs.


Students from any academic background are encouraged to apply. Looking for students with 1-3 years relevant experience working in Recreation with supervision experience. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with a proven ability to multi-task effectively are required. The successful candidate will be experienced in supervising recreation events, possess the ability to work independently, but thrive in a team environment. Required to have, or willing to obtain, Standard First Aid certifications.


  • Supervise intramural and other events in the Field House.
  • Manage the Field House front desk area including payments and rental fees
  • Track participants in Field House events.
  • Take inventory of and manage distribution of Field House equipment
  • Help promote all Campus Recreation Events
