The County of Lambton is an urban-rural area in southwestern Ontario that is home to over 126,000 residents. Minimum Formal Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in Environmental Health or the deemed equivalent
- Certificate in Public Health Inspection (Canada)
- Knowledge of Ontario Public Health Standards
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
A valid Ontario driver’s license and use of a vehicle.
Provide public health inspection services to the community by enforcing health legislation and standards, investigating community health issues, ensuring the resolution of health issues, educating the public and continuously monitoring the indicators of community health.
