We are excited to offer a student placement in our Maintenance Department, which is located in Bowmanville, Ontario, approximately 75 kilometres East from Toronto, Ontario. This job will provide you with the following professional development:

  • You must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • We are searching for an enthusiastic Electrical, Instrumentation and Control or Mechanical Engineering student who has completed a minimum of 1 year(s) and will be returning to university or college (full time) upon completion of this work term or requires one final work term to graduate.

Preference may be given to the candidate who has the following skills and qualification:

  • Experience in an industrial environment
  • Leadership experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office software skills to manage programs and data bases



As the successful candidate, you may have the opportunity to assist in a variety of work assignments which may include:

  • Support supervision with the coordination of crew work activities
  • Support supervision in areas of plant safety and housekeeping activities
  • Interface with other departments and teams to resolve low-level problems through collaboration in support of meeting work program deliverables
  • Support station outage pre- and post-requisite work activities through coordination and report preparation
  • Support maintenance work package assessments through the tracking of metrics, the management of associated programs, plant walk downs and interfacing with support work groups
  • Support station maintenance initiatives through follow up and interfacing with other work groups as required
