  • Excellent ability to multi-task; handling a number of tasks in an intense, fast paced and ever-changing environment, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Proven customer service skills, at all times displaying professional mannerisms and appearance
  • Excellent and professional communication skills;  including verbal, written and social media
  • Motivated self starter, responsible and reliable, able to work effectively as a team member and independently.
  • Strong computer skills and previous experience with Property Management Systems an asset
  • Highly flexible in terms of working hours

As you personally greet our Guests and assist them through their visit to this magical region while introducing them to the intricacies that make the Keltic Lodge unique.

  • Greeting all guests and visitors to our property with a smile and welcoming manner displaying our signature “Cape Breton Hospitality”
  • Ensuring all guests leave Keltic Lodge Resort & Spa with a positive experience by anticipating guest needs and providing personalized service demonstrating a strong commitment to our guest service standards
  • Being increasingly knowledgeable and able to answer questions concerning all aspects of resort amenities, services and activities including local attractions and services
  • Consistently displaying a team approach, assisting other departments with a co-operative and pleasant attitude
  • Displaying adherence to Resort and department policies, procedures and service standards
  • Providing reservations, concierge, recreation, bell desk, and gift shop services as required
  • Participating with training and development within the Guest Services department
  • Ensuring resort housekeeping standards are being maintained in all public spaces and guest rooms including physical checks and maintenance of these areas
  • Providing exceptional guest service for all aspects of check-in, stay-over and check-out of resort guests; including individuals and groups
