Full time – 37.5 hours per week

Requirements: 

  • Canadian Citizen or ability to work in Canada

Responsibilities

Job Description and Duties: 

Collections Contact Officer 

Within the Collections and Verification Branch, you will be responsible for duties that include:

  • Administration of the Income Tax Act for the collection of outstanding accounts receivable
  • Locating non-compliant taxpayers and contacting taxpayers and their representatives
  • Requesting of information and information returns
  • This will include contacting clients by phone

Application Details

Salary Range: $13.47 – $21.64 per hour (dependent upon education and experience)

Location: Nova Scotia Tax Services Office – 47 Dorchester Street, Sydney, Nova Scotia

Prerequisites: Pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, business administration or commerce.
