Responsibilities

Food and Beverage Serving Skills

  • Greet patrons, take orders, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • Mutli-tasking and ability to pick up pace
  • Maintain work area and re-stock, re-fill as required
  • Take orders and make what is required
  • Recommend drinks that complement patrons’ meals
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages
  • Inform customers of amount due and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards

The candidate will require training in all aspects of Robin’s coffee business. The Store operations/ Customer Service (cashier/server) is a position which requires several weeks/ months of proper training procedures. This position entails wide range of operations for the Robin’s store. Our POS system will take approximately 5 – 6 weeks. The food preparation for Robin’s is quite extensive due to our multiple menu items. Daily opening and closing of our locations requires several shadowing experiences with another fully trained staff member. This position includes a broad range of duties. Store training procedures include;

  • Becoming familiar with guideline manuals
  • Policies and procedures
  • Health and safety standards
  • Maintenance duties within baking area
  • Customer service skills and appropriate measures
  • Overall product preparation and portioning
  • Upselling and time management skills
  • Scheduling and coordinating employee requests
