BHTM STUDENTS – Call Centre Associate/ Inbound, Blue Mountain Resorts – Ontario

Requirements

CALL CENTRE ASSOCIATE / INBOUND

SUMMARY

Call Centre Associates sell and reserve lodging and recreation packages to potential guests via in-bound calls. We provide detailed information regarding all aspects of the resort and its offerings. As the “voice” of Blue Mountain, we service Fully Independent Travelers (FIT), conference guests and the general public.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Thrives in a sales environment; some previous sales experience an asset
  • Previous Call Centre experience an asset
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills – Comfortable working with multiple systems
  • Strong typing skills required
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Detail oriented and efficient; able to remain calm under pressure
  • Enthusiastic and friendly with a professional telephone manner
  • Articulate, with a good command of the English language
  • Enjoys working in a team atmosphere
  • Must be available to work shifts; including days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sell and/or reserve lodging and/or recreation for leisure, group and conference guests
  • Consistently use the Blue Mountain Resorts sales script while striving to consistently achieve set sales targets
  • Provide customers with detailed information about Blue Mountain
  • Stay up-to-date with new and changing information through various resources provided
  • Participate in staff events to increase knowledge of resort offerings
