This Media Interpretation and Reception Lab gives researchers a place to expand their understanding of how people interact with media. The only research infrastructure of its kind in Eastern Canada, this lab has the capability to engage in both qualitative and quantitative research.
Formerly known as the Mi’kmaq College Institute, the Unama’ki College of Cape Breton University strives to meet the needs of Mi’kmaw and other First Nations students, while also contributing to the educational goals set by Mi’kmaw communities.
The Verschuren Centre for Energy Sustainability and the Environment is a development and demonstration service provider for Clean Tech Solutions. The centre is focused on finding innovative and sustainable solutions to energy and environmental issues.
