Island WISE

The Island WISE (Women in Science and Engineering) is a series of day-long Celebrations of Women in Science and Engineering. The days are filled with inspiring stories of successful women in various science-related careers and engage students through various hands-on, fun learning activities and lots of prizes.  Designed with high school and junior high school students in mind, Island WISE introduces young females to opportunities available through science-related studies, including those that may not be so clearly linked to a science education.

Please note that while the focus of these events are to encourage young women to explore science options, we welcome participants of all genders.

In the lead up to the events, please join us on our Facebook Page and follow us on Twitter.  You can also join the conversation with #IslandWISE.
