The Boardmore Playhouse is hosting A Circle of Terror, a series of sensory experiences in which those who attend can help the protagonist, Dr. Rowland, with the search for his long-lost sister on the other side. It will take place October 26 through 30 at 7 p.m. in the Boardmore Theatre. On October 31, students, faculty and staff at CBU can attend throughout the day.
A Circle of Terror is not a play, but a series of different sensory experiences. In 15 minute intervals, groups of 10 to 15 people will be placed on a rotating stage acting as interceptors to help Dr. Rowland to cross over to the other side to search for his sister who has been lost from a young age. Dr. Rowland needs your sacrifice in order to complete his mission.
“This project is a first for the Boardmore Theatre. We think we have a great idea here to give people a truly unique Halloween experience through storytelling and sensory activation – this is applied theatre at its best,” Todd Hiscock, Artistic Director, Boardmore Theatre.
Tickets are $10 per person. Tickets can be purchased individually or as a group. Those who purchase tickets individually will be assigned to a group. If you’d like to know more information, you can contact Todd Hiscock at 902-563-1351 or the Theatre box office at 902-563-1652. The box office is open 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
