iCreate March Break Camp – “Eye on The Environment”

Monday, March 14 – Friday, March 18, at Cape Breton University

The March Break Documentary Camp, sponsored by the iCreate Pilot Project, introduces teenage participants to a variety of documentary techniques and practices. Participants will work with film, radio, photography, archival and print documentary professionals and make use of equipment and resources at Cape Breton University to plan and develop their own projects.

Sessions are for middle and high school students, and will run 9AM-1PM, March 14-18. There is no registration fee, but registration is limited. Given the iCreate project’s focus on the environment and social justice, our theme/title for the camp will be “‘Eye on the Environment”. The camp facilitates and develops participants’ use of documentary techniques to reflect on their own experiences and insights.
