Date: Friday, July 12, 2019
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Location: Cape Breton University
This event is hosted by Mary Beth Doucette, the Purdy Crawford Chair in Aboriginal Business Studies. It is co-led by Indigenous business scholars Dr. Rick Colbourne, a Fulbright Canada Community Leader, and Dr. Joseph Scott Gladstone. This symposium extends the work of the PCC by considering how IWOK can be practiced to more effectively teach Indigenous business students and support their research goals. Our priority is to create a forum for you to connect with other Indigenous business grad students and mentors. We will do this by bringing everyone together to consider Mi’kmaw stories of organizing while also fostering discussion about diverse forms of IWOK.
