A regional gathering of the outdoor community

On June 1st from 10am-1pm we will be hosting the Nova Scotia Outdoor Network’s first regional gathering for all professionals and volunteers interested in the outdoors: outdoor recreation providers, outdoor educators, nature-based tourism operators, park planners, public health, active living. This is a free event including coffee/tea and a nutrition break.
The NS Outdoor Network is a project of Recreation Nova Scotia – www.nsoutdoornetwork.ca
On Thursday June 1st, from 2-4pm, in CS-104, we’re hosting a free public screening of the film Nature Play. Details about the film, including a trailer, can be found at https://www.natureplayfilm.com<https://www.natureplayfilm.com
This screening is a nice community wide addition to some other “outdoor community” events we’ve got organized to further the work we do in SPAL.
We will be hosting two other outdoor workshops/courses taking place at CBU.:
On June 2nd: A Reconnecting with Nature workshop
On June 3rd & 4th: Outdoor Council of Canada Field Leader (Hiking) course
Registration information for both the workshop/course is through Hike NS (www.hikenovascotia.ca)
