GirlSTEM Saturdays is a free program offered to girls aged 11 to 15, allowing them to discover science and engineering in a fun and interactive environment. The program is delivered by women who have backgrounds in these topics and who are passionate about spreading enthusiasm amongst young girls for science and engineering. GirlSTEM Saturday participants will have to opportunity to meet and to be mentored by women who work in sciences and engineering while learning new and related activities.
GirlSTEM Saturdays is offered by BrainSTEM Alliance and will held on consecutive Saturdays from October 13th until November 3rd at Cape Breton University from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.
Things to note:
- Spots are limited
- We ask that each participant brings their own lunch (light snacks and refreshments will be provided).
- On November 3 we will have a free pizza lunch for participants. Please note any dietary restrictions or food allergies in the form below, or bring a lunch with you on this day.
- Each participant is required to have a signed copy of our Safety Waiver before they can participate in girlSTEM activities. Please make sure you download, sign, and bring a copy with you.
