National Student Roundtable coming to CBU this fall

Preliminary details are now in place for the first National Aboriginal student roundtable. The Purdy Crawford Chair in Aboriginal Business Studies at Cape Breton University is inviting Canada’s leading Aboriginal business students to participate in a roundtable discussion on October 23-24 at CBU Campus.  In the coming weeks, students who attended and/or expressed interest in our 3 regional student roundtables (Atlantic, October 2011; North/Central, January 2012; Western, March 2012) will be invited to apply. There are a limited number of seats in this nationally representative group – 8-12 students will be selected early in September.  The Chair is thrilled to have the opportunity to unite First Nation, Métis, and Inuit undergraduate and graduate students from all regions of Canada.

Taking place simultaneously is the 19th Annual CANDO (Canadian Association of Native Development Officers – Conference, which will take place from October 22-25 in Membertou First Nation.  It will be incredible to have Canada’s current and future Aboriginal business leaders together in Unama’ki.  Stay tuned for further details.
