The Atlantic Aboriginal Economic Development Integrated Research Program (AAEDIRP) recently released a new online database for internet resources on Aboriginal economic development. ASK-ECDEV focusses on the Atlantic region and brings together a variety of resources that may be of benefit to community members.

With keyword search and browse options, it will be easy for users to locate programs of interest, as well as research and resource centres. Perhaps my favourite feature is the fact that there are drop-down lists for both authors and publishers, so if you aren't quite sure what you're looking for, this can be a very useful tool. Note, however, that it indexes only online content (not print materials).

I'll be very interested to see how individuals and groups use this resource. If you've spent some time with it, why not share your thoughts in the comment section!
