CBU invites applications for two year, full-time limited term Post-doctoral Researchers.
The Bio-products Research Group of Verschuren Centre for Sustainability in Energy & Environment, directed by Dr. Beth Mason at Cape Breton University (Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada) seeks highly motivated and exceptional postdoctoral researchers in the area of multi-functional material synthesis and characterizations for food packaging/coating application. Our group draws on principles from materials science, biotechnology and green chemistry to pursue innovations on functional packaging, bio-product transformation, and enzyme-based synthesis/extraction. As a key member of a multi-functional R&D team, the candidate will leverage his/her expertise in polymer/materials science to work towards developing, testing, scaling up of functional packaging/coating technologies.
